Molly Mitchell

Molly Mitchell

Founder + Director

Molly founded Stowe Children’s Theatre in a effort to bring Theatre to children in Lamoille County. Molly is passionate about providing children with an opportunity and safe place to practice and perform this performance Art. Molly is currently in Grad school working towards an Endorsement in Theatre Arts. She is THRILLED to be joined by a phenomenal creative team of talented teaching artists and offering camps again!

Taryn Noelle

Choreographer

Taryn Noelle is so thrilled and honored to be a part of this year’s Seussical Jr. camp, and to be in the company of such formidable artists and humans!  Taryn received her theatrical training at The Circle in The Square Theatre School in Manhattan, and also trained in the Ballroom and Latin dances while living in New York.  Taryn works throughout northern and central Vermont as a stage director, choreographer, actor and vocalist, and she also serves as the Director of Children’s Ministries for the Stowe Community Church.  A native of Toronto, Canada Taryn currently resides in Craftsbury and loves the joys of living in the Northeast Kingdom!  Taryn is so thrilled and honored to be working on “Seussical Jr.” with her dear friend, mentor and colleague, the incredible Molly Mitchell on this uplifting, charming and heartwarming Dr. Seussian tale!

Kat Gabaree

Stage Manager

Kat is excited to be jumping back into the world of youth theatre with this team and Seussical Jr. She studied Theatre Arts, concentrating on Stage Management and Directing, at Castleton State College in the early 2000s, was the company Stage Manager for Rutland Youth Theatre from 2005-2009, and was accepted into The Juilliard School Professional Internship Program for Stage Management for the 09-10 school year. Returning to VT in late 2010, Kat stage managed, directed and produced a few productions with LCP and STG before starting a family and shifting her focus for a bit. She is so happy to be returning to both theatre and working with young people this summer!

Arianna Belfield

Arianna Belfield is excited to be a part of the team for this year’s camp Seussical Jr.! Arianna has lived in Vermont for the majority of her life, having gone to K-12 schools in Jericho before getting formal music performance and music education training at the University of Vermont. She currently works as a general music and choir teacher in Chittenden county and loves sharing music daily with her students! She also gets onstage herself as much as possible, participating in productions with Lamoille County Players and Lyric Theatre Company. She has previously Music Directed for LyricKids camps in South Burlington, VT and is excited to work with some new theatrical creatives in Stowe on such a fun show! Fun fact: Arianna performed in Seussical Jr. herself when she was in Middle School as one of the Bird Girls! 

 

Harrison Brown

Accompanist

 

Harrison Brown is a composer and performer based in Vermont. His music draws on concepts from philosophy to history, and has created music in genres from classical to jazz to metal, blending subsets of music together to create new and unique sounds. His main instrument is piano and has played in both classical and jazz settings for nearly ten years. He also is a solo metal guitarist. Outside of music, Harrison plays a lead engineering role on the FIRST Robotics Competition team, Bad Weather. Currently a junior at Stowe High School, Harrison hopes to attend university in New England to study music, engineering or math.

Dave Gabaree

Dave Gabaree

Technical Director

Dave has been involved in Vermont theatre for 20+ years. He began doing shows with LCP at 16, did theatre all 4 years at PA, attended Castleton State College for Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting and Directing, was the Technical Director for Rutland Youth Theatre from 2007-2009, continued acting with LCP as well as STG up until the beginning of the pandemic, served a term on the board at STG, served on the board of the Vermont Drama Council from 2016-2022 , and has been the Director of the Peoples Academy Stage Company for the past 13 years. Dave is excited for this new opportunity and to join such a great artistic team.
