Step into the exciting world of stage combat! In this action-packed class, students in Grades 4–8 will learn the fundamentals of safe, believable theatrical combat while building confidence, focus, teamwork, and storytelling skills. From dramatic falls and reactions to choreographed stage fights, students will discover how actors create thrilling moments on stage—all while prioritizing safety and trust.
As a special highlight, professional fight choreographer Dominic Spillane will join us for an exclusive workshop session week two of this class series, giving students the opportunity to learn from an experienced industry artist and learn the foundational stage combat techniques, and how to incorporate them into their chosen scenework.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or trying theatre for the first time, this class is a fun and energetic way to build new skills and bring stories to life.
