Description: Our You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown Performance Camp offers a true musical theatre intensive for students ready to take on significant onstage responsibility. There are three swing cast opportunities, but otherwise a minimal ensemble. With a small cast and substantial principal roles, each performer will have meaningful stage time and opportunities to develop character, vocal performance, and storytelling skills.
Young actors will engage in focused rehearsals that emphasize acting through song, musicality, movement, and ensemble work while bringing the iconic Peanuts characters to life with honesty and heart. This camp is best suited for rising freshmen and high school students who are motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow as musical theatre performers. High school actors are expected to arrive on the first day of camp off book, with all lines and lyrics fully memorized. This preparation ensures we can begin rehearsals immediately and make the most of our time together.
Performance Times:
- Performance 1: Friday, August 7th at 7:00 pm
- Performance 2: Saturday, August 8th at 2:00 pm
