Description: Our You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown Production Camp supports this intimate, character-driven show through thoughtful and intentional design work. Campers will work closely with our Student and mentor Technical Directors, as well as the show’s Director on props, sets, and scenic elements that reflect the show’s clean, colorful, cartoon-inspired aesthetic. Students will also have the opportunity to learn lights and sound to truly bring this story to life! With the scale of the production allowing for close collaboration, students will gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of how technical and visual elements support a musical theatre intensive environment.
Performance Times:
- Performance 1: Friday, August 7th at 7:00 pm
- Performance 2: Saturday, August 8th at 2:00 pm
- Performance 3: Saturday, August 8th at 7:00 pm
- Please have your Production student bring the following: lunch, a water bottle, and two snacks each day.
- Please send your Production student with clothes they can get paint on, and with work gloves.
- We provide a camp t-shirt, all supplies related to building, and painting the set.
- We provide high-level instruction for the building, painting, lighting, and sound design of the camp.
- Strike: We will take apart set pieces, and clean the auditorium after the last performance. Please join in as many hands make light work! All student actors will have assignments related to this task.
- All productions students are asked to wear a black shirt, pants and sneakers for the performances.
